Mina Derafshzan is a technologist and storyteller whose career bridges software engineering, digital marketing, and strategic leadership.
Mina earned a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Azad University, where she first honed the problem-solving mindset that still shapes her work. After four years managing SEO, web development, and Google Ads campaigns for HDM Digital Marketing Agency, she deepened her business acumen with an MBA in Strategic Marketing from IMI.
In 2024 Mina relocated to Vancouver, working as a WordPress developer and digital-marketing specialist. There she delivered high-performance sites for Canadian clients, optimized Meta and Google ad funnels, and troubleshot. Her knack for data-driven growth soon led her to independent consulting projects—including the launch of Fabricoat.ca, where she crafted SEO-ready content, PPC strategy, and a brand voice that balances industrial precision with approachability.
Committed to lifelong learning, Mina is now completing an M.A. in Leadership at Trinity Western University, focusing on results-based accountability systems for tech organizations. She pairs academic research with hands-on experiments in content marketing, often blogging (in English and Persian) about mental health, women’s empowerment, and the immigrant experience.
Fluent in English and Farsi, Mina codes in HTML 5, CSS 3, basic JavaScript, and increasingly React; she is Google Analytics-certified, HubSpot Inbound-certified, and on track for AWS Cloud Practitioner. Outside of work she devours podcasts on design thinking, mentors newcomers to Canada, and never misses a chance to explore British Columbia’s hiking trails—usually armed with a camera and an idea for her next blog post.
Mina’s north star is simple: combine technical rigor with empathetic storytelling to build digital experiences—and communities—that empower people to learn, connect, and thrive.
